The word 'Mukto' means 'Free' that comes from 'Freedom'. The Mukto core team and working group members are creative developers, designers, administrators and managers who loves to enjoy freedom in development and are working together to take Mukto Software to new heights.

Mukto has some wonderfully talented people including ACM world finalists, IMO contestants along with some of the most leading developers and programmers from Bangladesh.
