It then uses a random, transaction-safe database query to generate the paper without duplication.
How secure is our institution's data on the platform?
A: Security is our top priority. We use strict tenant middleware at the application level. Every database query is automatically scoped to the logged-in user's Institution ID, making cross-tenant data leaks database-impossible.
Can we limit how many students can join a live online exam?
A: Yes. When setting up an exam, teachers can define a maximum student cap (max_students). The platform checks this against the institution's subscription package balance and uses database-level capacity locks to block extra students from joining once the limit is reached.
Does the platform support written/descriptive exams, or is it only for MCQs?
A: EQBank supports both! You can save, categorize, and compile descriptive questions into printable offline question papers. For online testing, the platform handles MCQs with automated grading, and you can also utilize it to store descriptive question formats.
